A defined DC power scope, delivered under our own supervision by technicians who specialise in DC power and battery systems and hold factory training across multiple OEM products.
We take delivery of DC power equipment on site, set it down, install it, terminate it and verify it: rectifier plant and DC distribution at all voltages, battery strings and racking, and the interconnection between them.
VRLA and lithium battery systems are where GWT's depth was formed. They are installed, interconnected, torqued and verified at any capacity, to the vendor's documentation and the project's electrical specification, under REC 38648.
OEM vendors and manufacturers bringing equipment into an Australian project need a local crew that already understands DC power. We take on the DC power installation as a subcontracted body of work, under our own supervision, so the vendor executes the project with its own engineers focused on the product.
Our technicians hold factory training across multiple products from multiple OEMs. That breadth is what makes us useful to any vendor: a crew that knows the product class, works to the vendor's procedures and documentation, and delivers its defined scope within the vendor's test program.
You hold the electrical package and the DC power scope sits inside it. We take that scope as a subcontracted body of work: delivered to your program and documentation, under our own supervision and licence, by our own employees who do it every day.
Where DC power is let as its own package, we deliver it as a licensed contractor with our sister company's depth behind it: an offsite test location through GWT Critical Infrastructure under its own contract where the project calls for it, and installation and verification on site by us under ours.
Not every DC power scope is a data centre. We deliver smaller-scale projects across commercial construction: supply and install where the project calls for it, and installation of free-issue equipment supplied by the tier-one electrical contractor or the end user.

UPS systems are installed and verified under the vendor's lead, most often as part of the vendor's own project. We are familiar with the AC power systems every DC scope connects into, and our technicians work comfortably at the interface between the two. DC power and battery systems remain the specialism.
